Profile:
Starting from documentary filmmaking, Kuo’s first documentary short film SHe (2016) won the Golden Harvest Award and other international awards during 2016-2018 and was screened at domestic and international film festivals. In 2018, Kuo premiered her first solo exhibition The Tomato Girl with composite media.
In recent years, Kuo has been focusing on the themes of memory, trauma, and (dis)identification and tried to delineate every unique life by composite media. Experimental short film The Tomato Girl and Children’s reality TV show Having fun in the mountain are her recent works.
